Here’s our free downloadable and printable monthly calendar page for April 2026. This month’s featured art is Ricardo’s new poster “Black Panthers”. It also makes an appearance in this year’s Liberation Calendar.
2026 is the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Black Panther Party. This commemorative poster features a collage of Ricardo’s illustrations made from the late 1960’s (when Ricardo helped distribute the The Black Panther newspaper in Chicago) to the present day. For teaching and learning resources about the Black Panthers, we recommend the Zinn Ed Project.
The monthly calendar is a simplified, complementary version of the Ricardo Levins Morales Liberation Calendar, featuring historical dates and a mix of new and old artwork, printable for use in your office, school, or you-name-it. You can print it best on 11×17″ paper, and it’s a great teaching tool as well as a resource for social movements.
