Here’s our free downloadable and printable monthly calendar page for June 2026. This month’s featured art was made in 2011 for the Free Honey Bea campaign. The center design is available today as a vinyl sticker, “No Room for Racism and Transphobia.”
In June 2011, CeCe McDonald (“Honey Bea”) was arrested and charged with murder in Minneapolis after defending herself and friends from a racist and transphobic attack. The subsequent support campaign drew international attention to the case and spotlighted the racialized transphobia of the criminal justice system and society at large, demonstrating how police and prisons offer no safety to Black trans people (or anyone). The campaign helped build the intersectional abolitionist analysis of the queer left locally, preparing the soil for the future George Floyd Uprising. Released in 2014 after serving 19 months in a men’s prison, McDonald has dedicated her life to the movement.
The monthly calendar is a simplified, complementary version of the Ricardo Levins Morales Liberation Calendar, featuring historical dates and a mix of new and old artwork, printable for use in your office, school, or you-name-it. You can print the monthly calendar best on 11×17″ paper, and it’s a great teaching tool as well as a resource for social movements.
