Visually, this year’s calendar art honors Malvina Reynolds, labor union victories, rebellions against war, poverty, prisons and capitalism, ecological wisdom and immigrant rights. The 2027 Liberation Calendar celebrates movements towards liberation – past, present and future.
In between the original artwork spanning Ricardo Levins Morales’ 50+ years of art and activism, historical dates have been carefully chosen to uplift moments when ordinary people rose up to build a better future.
