Anne Frank (Button)

Jewish teenager Anne Frank (1929-1945) spent two years in hiding with her family in a secret annex in a home in Amsterdam, during World War II. She was eventually captured and died in a Nazi concentration camp. The diary she left, written during her years in hiding, is a testimony to the strength of the human spirit.

Today in 2026, with immigrants in hiding from ICE in the U.S., stories like Anne’s are as important to remember and draw strength from as ever.

The portrait in this button is from Ricardo’s 1992 poster, available here.
