Here’s our free downloadable and printable monthly calendar page for March 2026. This month’s featured art is Anti-Oppression Olympics – available as a poster or card.
The phrase “Oppression Olympics” became popularized (first in BIPOC feminist circles) after a public conversation between Betita Martinez and Angela Davis in 1993. Davis writes that Martinez “urges us not to engage in … a futile hierarchy of suffering, but rather to harness our rage at persisting injustices in order to strengthen our opposition to an increasingly complex system of domination, which weaves together racism, patriarchy, homophobia and global capitalist exploitation.” Read more about why Ricardo made this piece here, or on the calendar page.
The monthly calendar is a simplified, complementary version of the Ricardo Levins Morales Liberation Calendar, featuring historical dates and a mix of new and old artwork, printable for use in your office, school, or you-name-it. You can print it best on 11×17″ paper, and it’s a great teaching tool as well as a resource for social movements. If you like the monthly calendar, you’ll want to check out our 2026 Liberation Calendar, now available at a discount.
