Greetings from Minnesota

After seeing several recent studies about racial inequality in the state of Minnesota, I made this poster. My home state state ranks among the worst for disparities in economics, police stops and arrests, transit police prosecutions, health outcomes and education.

This is poster is done in the style of a tourist postcard.  The text reads, “Gateway to the Deep North,” and “A State Without Equal Rights.”  The building in the lower right represents Fort Snelling, site of the genocide of the Dakota people. Many native activists today demand the removal of what is now a tourist attraction.
