My Hands/Mis Manos – Victor Jara

I created this poster for the Headwaters Foundation for Justice in 2011. It features lyrics from a song by Chile’s beloved Victor Jara.  The Chilean military killed him in a US-backed coup in 1973.

The quote from Jara reads, “My hands are all I own, they are my love and my sustenance.”  En español, “Mis manos so lo único que tengo, son mi amor y mi sustento.”
