Memphis (Notecard)

This piece commemorates the Memphis sanitation workers strike that Martin Luther King Jr. was in town to support when he was assassinated. Two workers had been crushed by accident in the back of their own truck after businesses refused to let them – two black men – take shelter from the rain.

Also available as a poster.
